(January
11, 2021) Following a short off-season, Jason Hiett and
Team One Motorsports lifted the lid to their 2021 campaign on January
9-10 in the 30th edition of the 'Ice Bowl' at Talladega Short Track
in Eastaboga, Alabama. A total of 32 Super Late Model competitors
piled into the pit area at TST to do battle for the $6,000 winner's
check. On Saturday during preliminary action, Jason knocked down
the fifth quickest lap in his group during qualifying before grabbing
the fourth and final transfer spot through his heat race. After
rolling off from the outside of the seventh row in Sunday's 50-lap
headliner, Jason was trying to make his way forward before he was
caught up in a wreck and relegated to a disappointing seventeenth
place showing. Complete results from the season-opening 'Ice Bowl'

JASON HIETT CLOSES OUT
2020 CAMPAIGN AT MAGNOLIA
(November
15, 2020) Team One Motorsports made the trek to Magnolia
Motor Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi on November 13-14 for the
annual running of the 'Magnolia State Cotton Pickin 100,' which
wrapped up their 2020 racing season. The unsanctioned doubleheader
at "The Mag" kicked off with a $4,000 to win program on
Friday night. Jason Hiett grabbed the fourth transfer spot through
his loaded heat race and later climbed to finish eleventh in the
30-lap weekend opener. On Saturday evening, Jason placed fifth in
both his heat race and his B-Main, which unfortunately kept him
out of the 70-lap headliner that paid out $12,000 to the winner.

HIETT NEARLY WINS NATIONAL
100 FOR SECOND TIME...
(November
9, 2020) Next up on the schedule for the #1 team was the
46th edition of the famed 'National 100' at East Alabama Motor Speedway.
The historic Phenix City, Alabama oval played host to the unsanctioned
Super Late Model special on November 7-8 and a $15,000 top prize
was on the line. On Saturday night during preliminary action, Jason
Hiett laid down the second fastest lap in Group A during qualifying
prior to running second in his heat race behind only prelim winner
Joseph Brown.
After starting Sunday's 100-lap headliner from the
outside of the third row, Jason ran a smart race throughout the
marathon contest and ran amongst the top three for most of the distance.
He then suffered a late flat tire, rallied from the back with fresh
rubber, and took the lead from Parker Martin heading into turn three
on the final circuit. Unfortunately, Martin controversially drove
right through Hiett's Longhorn Chassis, spun the Oxford, Alabama
native out in front of the field, and dropped Jason to an ultra-disappointing
seventh place 'National 100' performance. Complete results from
the long weekend at EAMS can be accessed online at www.eamsdirt.com.

special drew a 43 car field to battle for the $15,000 top prize.
On Friday night during preliminary action, Jason Hiett drove his
Longhorn Chassis to the fourth quickest time in Group A during qualifying
prior to securing the third transfer spot through his stacked heat
race. After starting Saturday's 100-lap headliner from the inside
of the sixth row and falling back in the early stages of the contest,

winner's check was on the line. Jason Hiett placed fourth in his

two hours, Jason Hiett posted the seventh quickest lap in Group
B during the qualifying session before securing a triumph in his
B-Main. After rolling off from the outside of the sixth row in the
$5,000 to win headliner, Jason was able to blast up inside of the
top five during the course of the 50-lap affair. At the end of the
grueling race, the Oxford, Alabama ace was scored in the fourth
finishing position behind only winner Donald McIntosh, David Webb,
and Tyler Millwood! Complete results from last night in the Volunteer

JASON HIETT BACK IN
OWN EQUIPMENT; EIGHTH AT TST
(August
16, 2020) Following a recent split with Team 85, Jason
Hiett returned to his familiar #1 machine on Saturday evening, August
15 at the nearby Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Alabama. The
Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series (SAS) rolled into TST to preside
over the annual running of the 'Governors Cup.' A strong 40 car
field assembled at the track deemed as the "Hornets Nest"
to do battle for the $10,000 payday. Jason stopped the clock fourth

up a victory in his loaded heat race. After starting third on the
