time in 2017 on Saturday evening, September 16 at Talladega Short
Track in Eastaboga, Alabama! Jason laid down the fourth fastest
time in qualifying for the annual 'Jerry Goodwin Memorial' and later
placed second in the fast dash. After starting the 38-lap headliner
from the outside of the front row, Jason wired the field in the

One rolled into Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi
on Saturday evening, September 9 for a visit by the Southern All
Stars Dirt Racing Series (SAS). The annual running of the 'Governors
Cup' took center stage and a $4,000 winner's check was on the line.
Jason Hiett laid down the fourth quickest lap in his group during
SAS time trials and later started the 40-lapper from the outside
of the fourth row. He was then running in the seventh spot when
a blown radiator hose dropped the Oxford, Alabama native to twenty-first

of the 2017 campaign on Sunday evening, September 3 in a special
Labor Day weekend Super Late Model race at Talladega Short Track
in Eastaboga, Alabama! Jason knocked down the fastest lap overall
during the qualifying session to earn Fast Time honors and the pole
position for the unsanctioned main event. Jason then grabbed the
point on lap eight and held the lead throughout the remainder of
the feature distance to pocket the $2,000 winner's share over Austin

Saturday night, August 26 for the 'Friends of the Dream 40,' which
was sanctioned by the Ultimate Super Late Model Series. Jason knocked
down the fifth quickest time overall during the qualifying session
and later started the $4,000 to win headliner from the inside of
the third row. The Oxford, Alabama ace then steered his machine
past one racecar during the 40-lapper and placed fourth in the final
finishing order behind only winner Riley Hickman, Ray Cook, and

One rolled into the historic Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, Georgia
on Saturday night, July 29 for a visit by the Ultimate Super Late
Model Series. Jason Hiett tripped the clock second fastest in his
group during the qualifying session and later started the $4,000
to win headliner from the inside of the second row. The Oxford,
Alabama native unfortunately slipped back a few spots during the
40-lapper - primarily due to the loss of a contact lens - and wound
up sixth in the final finishing order behind only winner Michael
Page, Jason Croft, Tyler Millwood, Dale Thurman, and Ross Bailes.

Hiett, of Oxford, Alabama, recorded his fourth victory of the 2017
campaign tonight in the second Twin 25 that made up the 'Alfred
Gurley Memorial' at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Alabama!
After qualifying third fastest in time trials and finishing a strong
runner-up in the first $1,500 to win feature event behind only victor
Dallas Cooper, Jason dominated the final 25-lapper by leading from
flag-to-flag. Jason claimed the $1,500 payday in the unsanctioned
contest over Dallas Cooper, T.J. Alford, Austin Horton, and Terry

A busy week of dirt-slinging action for the #1 team
kicked off tonight at Senoia Raceway in Senoia, Georgia, as the
Schaeffer's Oil Southern Nationals tour presided over a $3,500 to
win shootout. Jason Hiett posted the ninth fastest lap in Group
A during the qualifying session prior to grabbing the third transfer
spot through his heat race. After starting the 35-lap feature event
from the inside of the seventh row, Jason unfortunately slipped
back to finish nineteenth at the Atlanta-area oval.
