campaign tonight in the second Twin 25 that made up the 'Alfred
Gurley Memorial' at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Alabama!
After qualifying third fastest in time trials and finishing a strong
runner-up in the first $1,500 to win feature event behind only victor
Dallas Cooper, Jason dominated the final 25-lapper by leading from
flag-to-flag. Jason claimed the $1,500 payday in the unsanctioned
contest over Dallas Cooper, T.J. Alford, Austin Horton, and Terry

A busy week of dirt-slinging action for the #1 team
kicked off tonight at Senoia Raceway in Senoia, Georgia, as the
Schaeffer's Oil Southern Nationals tour presided over a $3,500 to
win shootout. Jason Hiett posted the ninth fastest lap in Group
A during the qualifying session prior to grabbing the third transfer
spot through his heat race. After starting the 35-lap feature event
from the inside of the seventh row, Jason unfortunately slipped
back to finish nineteenth at the Atlanta-area oval.

a late rain-out of a Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series (SAS)
show at Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi on Saturday
evening, July 15, the #1 team made it to Talladega Short Track in
Eastaboga, Alabama very late, but in time to start the weekly Super
Late Model feature event from the tail of the field. Jason Hiett
was on a mission and drove up through the pack to record a strong
third place podium effort at TST behind only $1,200 race winner

lane on Saturday evening, June 10 at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga,
Alabama! Jason laid down the quickest lap of the 24 entrants during
Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series (SAS) qualifying and later
started from the pole position in the annual running of the 'B.J.
Parker Memorial.' Jason then led each and every circuit in the 42-lapper
to lay claim to the $4,200 windfall over Dallas Cooper, Tim Roszell,

HIETT PULLS DOUBLE DUTY
AT TALLADEGA SHORT TRACK

Hiett and his #1 team were once again in the pit area at the nearby
Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Alabama on Saturday evening,
May 6. In the $4,000 to win Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series
(SAS) showdown, Jason stopped the clock third fastest in his group
during qualifying and later started the 40-lap headliner from the
outside of the third row. The Oxford, Alabama standout was then
running third before unfortunately making hard contact with a lapped
car, which caused him to complete only 35 circuits and relegated
him to a disappointing twelfth place showing.
Behind the wheel of a #a19 machine in the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt
Late Model Series portion of the program at TST, Jason qualified
second quickest in his group during time trials prior to rolling
off from the outside of the second row in the $2,500 to win main
event. He was then unfortunately taken out while leading early in
the 50-lapper and eventually retired with a broken driveshaft in

One and driver Jason Hiett racked up their second feature win of
the young 2017 campaign on Saturday evening, April 29 at the nearby
Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Alabama! Jason clicked off the
fastest lap overall during qualifying to earn the pole position
for the feature and later led all 30 circuits of the headliner.
Jason beat Tim Roszell, Dallas Cooper, Terry Smith, and Douglas
Stewart to the checkered flag to record the $1,200 payday! Full

planning on taking the weekend off, Jason Hiett and Team One snuck
over to Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Alabama on Saturday,
April 8 and promptly put their machine in victory lane for the first
triumph of the 2017 season! Jason swept the weekly Super Late Model
program at TST by recording Fast Time in qualifying prior to leading
from flag-to-flag in the 30-lap headliner. At the checkers, Jason
was well ahead of Tim Roszell, Dallas Cooper, Tim Busha, and Terry

One invaded Boyd's Speedway in Ringgold, Georgia and East Alabama
Motor Speedway in Phenix City, Alabama on March 31-April 1 for a
pair of big Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series battles. On Friday
night at Boyd's, Jason Hiett ran third in his heat race to advance
into the $10,000 to win headliner, but unfortunately slowed on lap
30 and was relegated to sixteenth in the final finishing order.
In the $12,000 to win 'Alabama Shootout' on Saturday evening at
EAMS, Jason placed fourth in his stacked heat race and was an early
retiree in the 60-lapper - eventually being paid for twenty-second
